Subject: still curious about tidepool I've not yet heard an answer from Tidepool with regard to its relationship with the so-called Church of Scientology. Here's my question: is Tidepool currently owned, operated, or influenced by Scientology? My question is triggered by the abrupt removal of Grady Ward's account at the instigation of a known Scientologist. Please be aware that many netizens are extremely reluctant to have anything to do with a Scientology-owned and/or -operated business. For example, I know that Earthlink is a Scientology-owned ISP. Therefore, when I noticed, many months ago, that I was receiving steadily increasing amounts of junk mail from Earthlink accounts and its dialup POPs, I simply filtered all Earthlink e-mail to /dev/null. I did _not_ attempt to start a dialog with Earthlink regarding the spam I was receiving because I knew that a Scientology-owned business would not respond to third parties adversely affected by its sloppy business practices. So, once more, just for the record, is Tidepool a Scientology-owned and/or -operated business? Regards, Clark -- Clark O. Morgan cmorgan@aracnet.com
