Keith Henson is one of the best known and vocal critics of the Church of Scientology. You see him marching peacefully outside Scientology buildings with picket signs or read him on the Internet using his free speech to warn the public about this dangerous cult. The cult will do anything to bring a successful critic down, and ironically a little joke forced Henosn to seek political asylum in Canada. Read on, this is amazing and alarming.

It is true, Henson made a joke on a newsgroup about the "Tom Cruise Missile" and was convicted of violating a hate crimes statute, section 422.6 of the California Penal Code. It says:

"No person, whether or not acting under color of law, shall by force or threat of force, willfully injure, intimidate, interfere with, oppress or threaten any other person in the free exercise or enjoyment of any right or privilege."
