I don't know if you are attempting to be clever with words or you're just hacking it out in anger, but whatever the reason, you should know that it only makes you look bad and silly. Take it up a few notches to a civil level, talk seriously and properly. There are people out here who like communicating like adult and able humans. THAT is flawed. If you were totally unbiased you could walk into any Church and ask to speak to people that have been really helped with Scientology in their lives. There are thousands, whether in personal improvement, getting off drugs, health, family problems, well being etc. There are websites with thousands of Scientologists that provide details about how they have been helped. But YOU have formed a personal bias and pre determination that it is somehow all fake, they are delusional, brainwashed. WHY don'y you actually read their success stories, and talk to these people. You know the ones that ARE in good standing with their church. I actually challenge you to do this. But I doubt you will as you said yourself, the truth could set you free and I don't think you want to be free from it. Therefore YOUR position is flawed and not worth any meret, as a bonafide, unbiased professional would truly research ALL sides of the topic. I will give you an example - The fireman and first responders to 911 were overcome with smoke and a toxic brew of airborn particles. Years afterward many were sick, debilitaded and dying from lung related disease and other bronchial ailments. Scientology stepped in and helped some of these guys with our Purification Rundown program - (a specialized sweatout vitamin thing) many of these guys were saved from death and a lifetime of disabilty and are now living normal lives. This is only a small example of how LRH has helped people, Why don't you go interview these fireman and first responders. Could you bear to see that just maybe there are people being helped by our religion. And yes, it is now your religion too. [signature removed]

THAT is flawed. I'm honest about where I come from, what my opinions are and what they are based on. You and everybody else reading my site should take that in account when reading it. I think I am rather fair about it. I don't know anything about you, but I can still read and have opinions about what you write. At least I give my readers a better position to make more informed opinions. I do not have to try street drugs, do crime or drown to have the opinion that street drugs, crime and drowning is bad for you. The same goes for investigating a destructive and lying cult. When I see destruction and reveal blatant lies that is enough for me. The fact that I personally have not been a member of any cult does not deprive me of the ability to form, or the right to express, opinions about cults. Neither does it reduce my ability to investigate and recognize pure con-games. I am capable of reading and communicating, and probably most important of all, able to learn from the mistakes of others. Scientology is a "technology" trademarked and copyrighted by CoS and its affiliated entities. According to CoS, Scientology can only be practised properly inside CoS; anything else is false "tech" and "squireling". The only way to test Scientology is to join CoS and spend a fortune on extremely expensive courses that will take many years to finish. If this was a valid argument against the right to form an opinion about something, we would not be able to have many opinions. So I am not pretenting I am something I can't be. I set out to investigate CoS and came back with some opinions. On my site you find these expressed, together with the documentation I base them on. I'm not telling you to agree with me, it's just there for those interested. I have formed an opinion, just like you have and there is nothing wrong with that. I have since 1996 been pretty involved in this and met a lot of current and former Scientologists who wrote them. I've even met people while they were in and later when they were out. I feel I have a little valuable insight in how these success stories are harvested and have enough reason to question how trustworthy many of them are. As I said earlier, I don't dispute that many current Scientologists are happy with their faith - I assume that includes you. But you have to consider that there are far more former than there are current Scientologists. There are reasons for that. And there aren't even a million Scientologists worldwide. Their claimed inflated number is a hoax. If you sum up all the national census figures around the world you will be surprised. Most people who come in contact with CoS run away from it. While I do listen to the people happy with Scientology, I ALSO listen to the many who are not. I am not a professional researcher and never claimed I was. But I have privately researched both sides of this controversy over many years. On my site you even see me urge visitors to also check both sides, and I offer links to pro Scientology and CoS sites. But on those sites you will NEVER find one link to a critical site. Does your argument for me to research ALL sides apply to you and CoS too? That is exactly what was done, they were interviewed and the claims made were checked. I would love if they found a new cure to help humanity, that would have been great! The sad part is that this "detoxification" hype is just snake oil used to lure money out of people by exploiting their fears. Take care.
