RVY Offers Vistaril Doc
[16 May 1997]

There is great interest in the death of L. Ron Hubbard and some documents from the file of the San Luis Obispo coroner,
especially the toxicology report that showed that Hubbard was on the psychiatric drug/tranquilizer Vistaril when he died.

Subject: RVY offers Vistaril doc

My name is Robert Vaughn Young and I have made postings to
ARS seeking information for use in a lawsuit (RTC v. FACTNet) in
which I am serving as an expert legal consultant. I have also had
occasion to consult with others. For this effort, there have been
various responses that range from ad hominem attacks on me
and my family to personal threats. The message is quite
consistent with Scientology policy, to cause people to "shudder
into silence."

In response to the most recent threats (made a few days ago -
and always anonymous, as cowards always operate) and as proof
that I will not be silent, I have decided to respond to the
pieces of paper that came to my neighborhood with pieces of
paper of my own into the Internet neighborhood.

There is great interest in the death of L. Ron Hubbard and some
documents from the file of the San Luis Obispo coroner,
especially the toxicology report that showed that Hubbard was
on the psychiatric drug/tranquilizer Vistaril when he died. I
have an excellent copy of that document because I am the
one who first legally obtained a copy of that file from a most
polite and conversant county employee, many months ago.

Because I did not initially obtain my copy of that file as part
of any attorney-work product, I am able to share it with others
and would like to do so. My first offering is the actual toxicology
report, with L. Ron Hubbard's name on it and the drug Vistaril
named on the report and a page from a pharmeceutical journal
(perhaps the PDR) that shows the use and effects of the drug.
Framed side-by-side, perhaps along with the quote from
David Miscavige that "LRH has now moved on to his next level
of OT research," can make for a valuable conversation piece,
not to mention educational tool.

SELF-ADDRESSED STAMPED ENVELOPE (sorry, but U.S. only
at this time, please) to:

Robert Vaughn Young

attn: LRH died while on psych drugs

This phrase MUST appear in the lower left corner of the

I cannot guarantee that I will even receive your request and
certified mail will be declined, thank you.

No other documents will be provided at this time, so please
don't ask. But the coroner's examination of the body in
which he remarks on LRH's physical condition, including
his long, unkempt nails and the needle marks in the buttock,
may be made available soon.

Those seeking fuly verified (e.g., certified) copies should
contact the coroner's office directly.

Sincerely,
Robert Vaughn Young

PS - There were more than a dozen photos taken by the
coroner of LRH as a corpse. Scientology officials demanded
that they be destroyed and believe they were. What if...
