[22 Aug 1997]

Scientologists like to talk about their objective of a "cleared planet"
but no one seems to really know what that means.

Scientologists like to talk about their objective of a "cleared planet"
but no one seems to really know what that means. A reporter told me that
he had asked an OSA PR and was told it meant "a world without war or
insanity, where honest men..." Nay, nay, I told him, let's get rid of the
platitudes and get down to the nitty-gritty. Let's find out what L. Ron
Hubbard REALLY wanted to achieve on the planet.

And so I read him the "Targets" section of HCOPL 16 Feb 69, Issue IV,
"CONFIDENTIAL - Targets, Defense," which is part of every OSA hat pack,
meaning every person in OSA has read this MANY times. (The rank and file
have NOT seen this policy letter. It is NOT in the green volumes. They
all mouth the "World without war..." sugar-coated version.)

The PL is three pages and contains LRH's "analysis" of "errors" that were
made in dealing with the "enemy." E.g., "Not learning enemy tactics and
using and bettering them." (Whoops! He couldn't have meant THAT, could
he?)

Yes, friends, he said it and he meant it, so the next time you read one of
those policy letters where LRH talks about "Black PR" and other juicy
"enemy tactics," and the Scientologist says, "Oh, that's so we know the
tactics of the enemy. We don't do THAT!" (Said with a Warren "What OT3
Secret?" McShane straight face.) all you have to do is read them this part
of Source. (Don't worry about convincing them. You can't.)

There are nine of those "errors" and then he goes into what must be DONE.
Here they are with his introductory line:

Start LRH quote per fair usage (with my comments in brackets):

LRH: The vital targets on which we must invest most of our time are:

T1. Depopularizing the enemy to a point of total obliteration.
[Remember, this is a "religion," using tax free money in the US.]

T2. Taking over the control or allegiance of the heads or propriorters of
all news media. [Note the sequence here re importances to LRH. All are
worked on but some are higher priorities. Again, all tax-free.]

T3. Taking over the control or allegiance of key political figures. [And
some wonder why Germany is concerned?]

T4. Taking over the control or allegiance of those who monitor
international finance and shifting them to a less precarious finance
standard. [Wonder what LRH would have recommended as the alternate?}

T5. Generally revitalizing the societies in which we are operating. [The
way they have in downtown Clearwater.]

T6. Winning overwhelming public support. [The way they have on the
Internet.]

T7. Use all other similar groups as allies. [Scientology wants to be your
friend. Trust them.] - end LRH quote.

And THAT might give one a better idea what a "Clear Planet" would look
like to L. Ron Hubbard: No opposition or criticism. Control of all media
and governments. And that is just for starters.

Anyone who wants a copy should just ask the local OSA. They have LOTS of
copies! (No, they are NOT in the green volumes. Surprise!)
