: Another serious question folks:

: How pervasive in Scientology is the fear ahnd hatred
: of 'Psyches'?

It is as pervasive as fear and hatred of capitalists by old line
communists. How intense the person feels is an individual matter and
varies by the amount of time they have been there and how many courses etc
they have taken, let alone if you are staff. If you are staff, you cross
the line because you are dedicating yourself now to eradicating their
influence.

: When does this indoctrination start?

It is hard to avoid it in Hubbard material but they like to do it as soon
as possible.

: How fundamental is it to Scientology?

Crucial and central. Hubbard wrote in a highly secret dispatch to Dept 20
that his plan was to take over the field of mental health so that he/they
could have the millions of dollars that was going to psychiatry. He was
quite serious about this and when you read the dispatch you can see that
the motive is - surprise! - money and not morality. But then you can see
this in other campaigns, e.g., the IRS campaign. For decades the IRS was
corrupt and needed to be reformed but when the cult got their exemption,
that money sure solved the moral issues. Suddenly the cult has nothing to
say about the IRS, except in its defense.

The anti-psychiatry stance is also needed as the "evil" that helps to hold
the cult together. This is common to every totalitarian system. It has to
have an "evil" that the group rallies against. That is psychiatry.

: What percentage of therir resources are
: spent on internal indoctrination of this fear/hatred
: and on Front groups such as CCHR?

They don't really have to do much since it permeates Hubbard's writings.
You will see it at their rallies, when they rant against psychiatry, but
otherwise, the internal material keeps it alive.

: How consuming is their anti- psyche agenda
: and how do they forward this as a political agenda?

Same as Lenin's anti-capitalist agenda.

As to their political agenda, that is fairly sophisticated and goes far
beyond the stance re psychs.
