Hi,

I don't have easy access to the 'net right now, so I
have to post this using DejaNews. I'll be back to
normal soon, hopefully.

I sent out some info about the Norwegian cult lawyers
threatening me again, hope this was forwarded to ARS.
If not, you can read about it on the News page on
Operation Clambake.

My lawyer sent his reply to them yesterday, here are
some quotes (poorly translated by me):

"With reference to your letter [...] I would only like
to remark that I got some difficulty understanding
your clients alleged problems. If your clients
rigorous view on copyright questions should be the
core of conflicts like this, we would not be allowed to
write a single word without first have gotten the
approval from the authors of the dictionary. All the
words we use are in there."

"When criticizing religions, being Christianity,
Judaism, Islam, or other, of course one have to be
allowed to quote from texts conceived by the mentioned
religious organisations. The same has to apply to bait
and switch organisations like your client."

"My client does his best to discredit your client. I do
the same. The best way to end this nuisance is to quote
from the churches own texts. Or do you really mean,
juridically, one can not do this? Is it supposed to be
taboo to show what the "church" itself says?"
